Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Pegasus Hunter service you declare that you have read, understood and fully accepted these terms of service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

Pegasus Hunter is a software service that allows you to scan Facebook Ads Library through a Chrome extension, identify Shopify products featured in public ads, and monitor the price and sales trends of such products over time. The service includes a browser extension and a web dashboard available at pegasushunter.com.

3. User account

To use the service you need to create an account by providing a valid email address and a password. You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that take place under your account. In particular:

• You must use a strong password and not share it with third parties.
• You may not transfer, sell or share your account with other people.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account by writing to support@pegasushunter.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service in compliance with the law and with these terms. In particular you are prohibited from:

• Performing massive or automated scraping designed to overload the service or bypass plan limits.
• Reselling, redistributing or republishing results obtained through the service as a standalone product.
• Using the service for illegal, fraudulent activities or activities that harm third-party rights.
• Attempting to access other users' data, compromising the security of the service or reverse engineering the backend.
• Abusing public endpoints through unauthorized automated requests.

5. Free trial and subscription

Pegasus Hunter offers a 14-day free trial with 200 tokens included and all the features of the Pro plan. At the end of the trial you can choose whether to subscribe to a paid plan. Once subscribed:

• The subscription automatically renews at the end of the cycle (monthly or annual) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• You can cancel the subscription at any time from the dashboard: the service stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
• Full refund within 14 days of first subscribing to a plan, provided you have consumed fewer than 100 tokens. No pro-rated refund in case of subsequent cancellation.

6. Payments

Payments will be handled through Stripe (coming in Milestone 8). Pegasus Hunter does not store credit card data on its servers: all payment data is processed directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Invoices will be issued and made available in the dashboard at every renewal.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Pegasus Hunter does not guarantee absolute service continuity nor the 100% accuracy of the data collected, which depends on third-party public sources (Facebook Ads Library, public Shopify stores). Pegasus Hunter shall not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights related to the software, the Pegasus Hunter brand and the contents of the site belong to Pegasus Hunter. The Chrome extension is distributed as open source on GitHub under the license indicated in the repository. Data collected by scans comes from public sources and is not covered by exclusive rights of Pegasus Hunter.

9. Changes to the service

Pegasus Hunter reserves the right to modify the features of the service, subscription plans and prices. Substantial changes to terms or prices will be notified by email to registered users at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept the changes you can cancel the subscription before they take effect.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, save for the mandatory rights provided by consumer law.
